Today we’re talking about the importance of sleep when it comes to not only staying healthy but losing weight.

What’s one of the best things you can do to help speed up your weight loss goals? While you might think it’s diet and exercise, the truth is getting enough sleep is even more important!

Not only do you need to be fully rested to give your all during your workout time, it may also help you consume less calories overall during the day and fend off cravings.

A study published in the journal Sleep found a direct correlation between sleep and belly fat levels – subjects who slept five hours (or less), or eight hours (or more) a night gained more abdominal fat than subjects who stayed between six to seven hours of shut eye. It seems that extra belly fat comes from the extra calories we tend to eat when we’re tired (think about it – do you crave more sugary, high fat foods when you are tired or when you’ve slept well?). A separate study from Columbia University found that women who slept only four hours a night ate, on average, 329 calories more (and 31 grams of extra fat – yikes!) the next day, versus when they were well rested.

The good news is you may not need to add a significant amount of extra sleep to see improvements — research recently published in the journal Appetite shows that just an extra 1.6 hours of sleep could be enough to reduce your cravings by as much as 62 percent!

The bottom line? If weight loss is your goal, in addition to your workouts and healthy eating plan, be sure to make sleep a priority too.

This diet works like a charm! However every body type is different hence the results may vary. You know your body well, if u have any kind of ailments, consult your doctor first.

P.S: Eggs in this plan should be consumed with yolk.
Eggs should be BOILED ONLY.
Green Tea should be consumed plain (No sweeteners)
Eggs can be seasoned with little salt & black pepper
(No Mayo/ Sauce)
This is an egg diet plan ( egg is the primary ingredient), pls do not ask me substitute for eggs.

Regarding the Cholesterol in Eggs:
Eggs include HDL cholesterol, also known as great cholesterol. This kind of cholesterol is harmless for your well-being – it can enable the body produce more vitamin D and hormones like estrogen, testosterone and cortisol.
It can lower the amounts of bad cholesterol and will not raise the danger of cardiovascular diseases.

The DASH diet is an easy, safe, and useful plan that can help you feel better and get rid of excess weight. You can lose weight gradually, no starving or yo-yo dieting. It won’t shock or stress your body out.

DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. It’s a diet developed specifically to reduce blood pressure in those with hypertension. But scientists understood later on that this diet resolves tons of other health issues. It reduces cholesterol, prevents stroke and heart failure, and brings the weight down to a healthy level, even for those with obesity. Plus, it’s considered the best diet to prevent diabetes. Besides controlling blood pressure, people following it managed to improve insulin resistance.

– Jumping jacks are a great way to get that heart pumping. Plus, you’ll burn calories while building muscle strength.
– Mountain climbers are a cardio exercise, which means they burn fat like no other. They also target your upper and lower abs, shoulders, and leg muscles.
– Plyo step-ups increase your overall leg strength, really hitting those quads, calves, and lower abs. It can also help if you have some issues with your lower back.
– Push-ups train all kinds of muscles in your body. This plank-like position targets your abs and obliques, pushing up works your chest muscles, and lowering yourself back down targets your upper arms and back.
– Split squat jumps are a great exercise for lean and strong legs. They strengthen your glutes, quads, hamstrings, and, of course, abs!
